Exchange shipments, tracked out and back

In an advanced exchange, the replacement ships before the broken unit comes back. I built the tracking behind it: tracking numbers on the ERP order become shipments in the CRM, subscribe themselves to UPS updates, and every scan lands on the record through a secured webhook. Staff see every return still out, and customers get reminders until it ships back.

What it changed

  1. 01

Shipments are rebuilt from the ERP order's tracking fields: missing ones added, duplicates and orphans removed.

  2. 02

Tracking numbers subscribe to UPS 100 at a time on a schedule and re-subscribe until the package is delivered.

  3. 03

Returns still out get reminder emails at 2, 10 and 18 days, then a follow-up task for the team.
