Lead Simulator
The call center needed predictable leads to test against before a test org existed. I built a Salesforce tab that fires batches of realistic fake leads in the front door and follows each one live through the data platform, into the CRM and onto the dialer.
- Client
- Several consumer brands sharing one lead pipeline

- Lightning Web Components

- Workato
- Customer data platform
Screens
Rendered from the real code with made-up data.
Sending 15 test leads and watching each one move from sent, to answered by the data platform, to saved, to on the dialer list.

Three branches picked and a preview of ten test leads with name, phone, email and address before anything is sent.
A finished run with five leads done end to end and two failing at the data platform, each with its error text.

Recent test runs with who ran them, the brand, answer mode and counts of leads, done and failed.

A batch built from typed ZIP codes against live data, where each lead's outcome is decided by the real platform.
What it changed
- 01
1 to 100 leads per batch across 11 outcomes, from returning person and duplicate to do-not-contact and a vendor outage.
- 02
A 50-lead run finishes in about 2 minutes, 2 to 34 seconds per lead end to end.
- 03
Each lead's status updates live on the page as it moves through every system.
How it fits together
